 On Friday, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex closed 59 points lower at 57,832.

 After a huge fall in the stock market on the first day of the week, now there is a boom. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex is trading 150 points higher at 58,000. Banking stocks are on the rise.

 Sensex opened at 57,551

 Today the Sensex opened at 57,551. It made a high of 58,012 and a low of 57,240 in the first hour. Out of its 30 stocks, 7 are in gains and remaining 23 are in decline. The major rising stocks are Dr. Reddy, NTPC, POWERGRID, IndusInd Bank and TCS.

 Nestle, Bajaj in decline

 The major losers were Nestle, UltraTech, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Kotak Bank, SBI and Hindustan Unilever. Apart from these, shares of ITC, Reliance Industries, Kotak Bank, Maruti, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Airtel and HCL Tech are also trading down.

138 stocks of Sensex are trading in upper and 203 lower circuits. This means that their prices can neither fall nor increase beyond a certain limit. The market cap of the listed companies is Rs 258.37 lakh crore as against Rs 260.48 lakh crore on Friday.

 73 stocks at one-year high

 Its 73 stocks have one-year highs and 51 lows. Out of the total listed companies, the shares of 1,946 are trading down and 657 are trading up. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is up 35 points at 17,307. It opened at 17,192 and made a low of 17,136 and an upper level of 17,310. Out of its 50, 44 are in decline and 6 are in gains.

 PowerGrid and IndusInd Bank lead

 Dr. Reddy, NTPC, POWERGRID and IndusInd Bank are among the major rising stocks. HDFC Life, Tata Consumer, Bajaj Finserv, Titan and UPL were among the losers. Earlier on Friday, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex fell 59 points to 57,832 and the National Stock Exchange's Nifty lost 28 points to close at 17,276.
